Annual Fly Fishing Competition 2006

The Lodge's fishing competition was held at Orchill Loch on the 27th of May, this year Brethren from Sister lodges were invited along to make up the numbers after several call-offs from 38 Members, The Competition was keenly contested and 16 fish were taken, Overall winner on the Day was Bro. Richard McGlashan PM, runner up was Bro. Colin Wighton from Denny No.176, 3rd Place went to Bro. George Austin form Lodge Carse of Gowrie No.871, Heaviest Fish of the Day was Caught by Bro. David McCallum of Lodge St Michael No.38 was caught a magificent Rainbow Trout of 4 1/2 lb.

p.s in true Masoic style a raffle was held and raised the sum of £30 which was donated to Strathcarron Hospice appeal, which Orchill Loch supports.

Fly Fishing Competition 2005
Lodge St Michael No.38 held their annual Fly Fishing competition on Saturday 25th of June 2005, The event was keenly contested, By IPM Bro. R.P. McGlashan, Bro.s McCallum , Robb , Higgins and Cameron.
Overall winner on the Day was Richard McGlashan , who caught three Rainbow trout for 8lbs, Runner up was Billy Higgins (pictured below)
